I already tried having a regular blog. And failed.
I won't write about my life. Won't bore you with that.
I will, however, write about stuff that's (maybe) influencing my life at the moment - music, movies, art, fashion,...
Maybe you will like it.
Maybe you won't.
Maybe I'll stop posting stuff in a few weeks.

I’m SO excited about the Kylie concert… I know it’s totally and absolutely gay *lol* but yes, Kylie is my official Guilty Pleasure. There’s nothing wrong with some good and fun pop music. :) And her shows are amazing :)

I had a great start…do you know the situation when you’re at a party, you’re going to the bathroom, you hear people laughing and talking and a cool song on the other side of the door? And you think to yourself “that’s a perfect moment, full of bliss?” Well, that’s how I felt tonight at around 1.30.

So, since it’s still 2010 I think it’s time to finish my list. I didn’t have much time to write anything in the last couple of weeks…so I will rush through the rest of the list.

My summer holiday in 2010. Actually I wanted to fly somewhere and just lie on the beach and do nothing. But since my BF doesn’t want to fly we agreed on the Tuscany. There we had both - beach and sights. We spent 3 days on the beach and traveled around the beautiful landscape for another 3 days. Another beautiful trip :)
- The Hidden Cameras
Two Hidden Cameras concerts in one year! *yaaay* Two concerts I danced my ass off. Especially at the second show - it was in summer, it was a small stage (Poolbar), it was hot and sweaty and just amazing!
- Robyn’s Body Talk
The perfect soundtrack for the whole year - Robyn’s Body Talk series. Since she split it up in 3 parts and released all of them with a couple of months in between releases it felt like her music was constantly with me in 2010. From the incredible Dancing on my own to the groovy Call your girlfriend - 2010 was definitely Robyn’s year.

GLEE really rocked my little world in 2010. (especially this song :P )
Yes, it’s gay, and yes, it’s over the top, and yes, some of the songs use too much autotune…but Season 1 was soooo special. The story, the characters, the songs…everything was just so beautiful and heart-warming. From nerdy Artie, to annoying Rachel and incredibly mean and brilliant Sue… I haven’t seen anything with that much heart on TV since “Beautiful People” (U.K series). I laughed, I cried, I danced and sang…sometimes everything during one episode :P
Season 2 started very weak (too many guest Stars, too many special episodes, almost no storyline…) but with the last few episodes GLEE got back on track…
I know, GLEE is not everyone’s cup of tea and I can totally understand why some people really don’t like it…but for me it’s something I was looking forward to almost every week in 2010 :)
Another Highlight this year:
Out of nowhere Sufjan Stevens released a new EP and a new full-length album in 2010. Even though he started using more electronic instruments and noises (see the video above), it still sounds a lot like Sufjan. Different layers, classical instruments, weird structures…and his voice, of course.
Definitely one of the best surprise releases of 2010 ;)

PHOTOGRAPHY! I always enjoyed taking pictures. I remember that I got a cheap toy-camera when I was a kid. I took it with me to a kindergarten party (I think it was a christmas party) and took a hell lot of pictures. But it turned out that nobody told me that I have to revolve the wheel to move the film to the next photo before taking a new picture (you see, that was BEFORE APS films or digital cameras…old school :P). So the whole film was destroyed and I was really sad about that…
A few years later I got my Dad’s old Nikon camera which I loved. I took pictures whenever I could. But I had to stop because it got too expensive (and my parents told me to go slow). My next camera was an APS Camera (remember those? They were quite popular during a very short time before digital cameras were available).
Anyway, I always found something to photograph. I loved sneaking into old abandoned buildings or working sites in the neighborhood to take pictures.
Of course, digital cameras made it a lot easier.
And this year I finally bought a digital SLR camera. Well, actually it’s an EVIL camera (electronic viewfinde interchangeable lens). It took me several months to decide on a camera and believe me, I really wanted to take a CANON but it turned out to be the SAMSUNG NX10 - and I’m really happy with it. Definitely one of the best purchases of 2010 :)
